Perfect stay - I would have stayed there for a week !

The monk who runs the property was so helpful recommending local restaurants and giving advice and even gave us a lift to the station. There were free drinks including alcohol. The rooms are part of a temple. The hotel is very close to the main shrine and not far from the station so a great location. The place to stay in Shingu. Good value for money.

Minshuku Wago is truly an exceptional place! The owner is incredibly kind, and the hospitality was the best we've experienced. It was a rainy and chilly day, and the owner kindly asked if we would like to use the ofuro, we said yes, and the owner prepared everything perfectly for my husband and me. The room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated having access to laundry. They also provided three delicious meals, including a bento for our Kumano Kodo hike. We felt so well taken care of. highly recommended!

The location is very good. It’s near the bus stop and the convenience store. And if you wake up early like me and there’s no bus at that time, you still able walk to the Shingu station. The hostel has 4 bicycles to be borrowed with no charge. You can ride it around the city.

At night, there is no noise. Spacious room, comfortable futon and air conditioning adjustable. Both the rooms are side by side on the second flight of stairs. The toilet and the shower are after the first flight of stairs. You have a cooking space and 2 tables. Very nice and spacious. Easy check-in and check-out. Restaurant nearby with amazing food. Overall very happy to have rented this place.

The tourist spots in this island are close to each other so if your comfortable walking then you’ll be fine.You also have the option to rent a car if there’s any. If not, you can rent a bike from cogicogi.Fyi, it is near a coin laundry station that’s open from 5am til 12midnight. The owners served me a healthy breakfast for my 2 night stay and I’m happy to able to experience their hospitality. Thanks once again :)

We took some time to chill at Taka-G with a busy schedule planned. Directions were easy to follow. Taka-G greatest us on arrival. Basic but just what we needed and the room had air-conditioning. We had a fab day at the beach. Taka-G was so kind and even dropped us off at the station. For a chill no frills stay, this is the place.
