Can't ever guarantee the view but we lucked out. In any case it is a beautiful place on the lake and less busy than other areas.

Amazing Stay with Delicious Vegan Meals! I had the most wonderful stay at this charming house! The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure that every detail was perfect. The highlight of the experience was definitely the vegan dinner and breakfast – both were absolutely delicious! For dinner, we had a variety of flavorful dishes that were fresh, creative, and satisfying. The breakfast was equally impressive. The accommodation itself was cozy and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing vegan food.

Great stay in Fujikawaguchiko! The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

Lovely guesthouse run by a small family in a quiet street of Fujikawaguchiko. The host is very hospitable and although he speaks little english, he is good with technology and will help you out wherever he can. He prepared a welcome snack and drink when you check in. The tatami room is clean and spacious and if you are lucky, comes with a view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom is traditional and has a bath which is prepared for you every night. The location is around 20min walk from the main train station and is close to local shops.

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. I never felt so well treated by a hotel!!! They took a Polaroid d picture and gave it us with a letter. I’m also pregnant and they gifted us with vitamin C, and chopsticks for both of us and the future baby! The facility is veeery clean, very close to the station and Hana and Satori, the owners, couldn’t be any sweeter!!!! We loooved our stay here!
