It is close to railway stations, making it easy to get to Kawaguchiko station and Kawaguchi Lake. Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine is within walking distance. Yumiko, the host, is very helpful and hospitable.

Great and quiet location to get to know the area of Mount Fuji. The rooms were comfortable and there is an amazing traditional bath that you can use privately in turns. The hosts also accommodated vegan dinners upon request. The breakfast was exceptional!

The hotel stuff was the nicest ever. They had a bunch of brochures and discount codes for us to use as well as directions to good restaurants nearby. The night before we had to leave they came and asked us when so they could drive us to the station. We told them 10 am but later found out we had to leave at 8. We told them this at 7.40 AM, fully prepared to get us selves to the station but the host got up and got his car so he could drive us. Super nice people. Super nice amenities. We could see Mt. Fuji from our room as well which was super nice.

This has been the best experience in my life. The owner picked us at the train station, we is so kind and willing to help. He did a great job communicating with us and was so helpful in many ways. The place is amazing, I felt like all those movies and animes I saw when I was a child, beautiful room, great bath, I enjoyed the bath time so much. The owner gave us tea and we got a room with view to Fuji-san. Beds are clean and they give you Yukatas, we even did a video or our own version of a tea ceremony. Just a comment for fellow guests, please be respectful with Japanese culture, this place more than a hotel is a family house, please be quiet and take off your shoes. Take care of the tatamis and all the place, cause everyone deserves to live such a beautiful experience. And to the owner: あなたの家に泊まらせてくれてありがとう。

Everything in the house in perfect and cured to every detail. HALELUYA is an oasis of peace. I will definitely recommend it to anyone travelling in the area!

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. If you’re coming to Mt Fuji (Fujisan) you HAVE to come stay here and meet the amazing Hana-San and Satoshi-San. This by far was the best and most hospitable experience I have had in Japan. The accommodation is incredibly cute and has the homely touches of the owners. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I’m sad to say goodbye to that mattress. The owners put out a large spread of free snacks, fruit, yogurts, noodles, boiled eggs, teas and coffees which they top up everyday! They even gave me a (FREE) bicycle that I was welcome to use for my whole stay, which really opened up Mt Fuji. And to make it even more special I was left a gift to say thank you for coming and even a birthday gift. Which honestly brought me to tears, I only mentioned in passing this was my 30th trip. To end the longest review I have left. Stay here, I know a day trip is attractive, but then you don’t get to experience the sleepy quiet Mt Fuji nor the hospitality of Hana-San and Satoshi-San.
