Highly recommended for female solo travellers looking for a peaceful stay.. Not only were the staff super friendly and helpful everything I needed was provided for at the cottages.

I live in Nairobi and have stayed at lots of places on the Kenyan coast, and the Watamu Beach Cottages is my favourite by far. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bungalow was beautiful and comfortable, and the viewpoints (where you can sit and enjoy the view of the ocean) were amazing. And the snack bar has great food! I'll definitely be back.

Pucci house is a lovely, small guesthouse with pretty gardens and in a residential neighbourhood not far from shops and eateries. Alex was a very attentive host, gave me tips for the area and organised transportation back to the airport. I found Jua room really comfortable and furnished to a high spec, overlooking the communal gardens. A lot of care has gone into the design and furnishings of the guest house. Breakfast was simple and nicely prepared by a lovely woman in the property. Having both an overhead fan and AC was really great as the heat is quite something in Watamu! I wish you well at Pucci House!

We had an amazing stay at Beba’s beach house and particularly enjoyed the beauty of the house, the availability of the host, the cosiness of the room and the balcony, the generous and tasty breakfast with ocean view, the two friendly dogs and the access to the private beach of course. Beba helped us organizing a blue safari to see dolphins and to do snorkeling, which was amazing! You can also have lunch and diner at the property and the food was good! Thank you Beba, looking forward to coming back.
