The location was incredibly accessible, making it easy to explore the area. Our host was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests. The property was ideally situated near local amenities, so everything we needed was just a short walk away. Plus, there were so many activities to enjoy, from scenic walks around the island to boat rides and exploring the rich history of the area. It was truly a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lamu!

Breakfast was served on the very nice rooftop terrace and was delicious. The staff is very professional and organised. Airport pick up and drop-off was smooth.

Beautiful location in Shela village, stunning gardens around the hotel and a short walk to Shela Beach which goes on forever. The restaurant at Kijani is amazing, better than Peponi! Definitely have the Kijani Crab Curry!

The home itself is beautiful with great amenities and especially views of the city.

It is located 700 metres from Gallery Baraka and offers luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms.

I just loved the interior design of the place, the rooftop, the furniture... The room was really spacious, the bathroom too. The breakfast was good, Moses who was managing the place is very kind and helpful. It's very close to the pier and it was easy to reach.

Everything was perfect, from our arrival (with a pick up from the airport arranged by the hotel) to our last day on the island. The location is very good, close to the sea and the port (for a day trip on a boat) and the city center, which makes you really experience the life of Lamu. The hotel manager helped us organise various activities, like a boat trip and a snorkeling trip and all exceeded our expectations: the crew, the food and the experience as a whole were great. He also recommended good restaurants nearby which we really loved. We always felt safe and that we had someone to rely on. The hotel itself is in a very nice building and we really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with the sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. We wished we could have spent more days there!

The place is amazing, and the service is even better. They take great care of you and stay attentive in case you need anything throughout your stay.
