Situated near Kandy Museum and Sri Dalada Maligawa, Terrace Kandy is in Kandy and features free private parking and a restaurant. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The property is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium, and within less than 1 km of the city centre. Nothing to say about the view it was that much amazing. Room was super clean. Very friendly staff always willing to help us. Breakfast is so good. Definitely coming back

Situated in a unique location where you can see both lion rock and pidurangala rock from both the balcony and when in the shower! The accommodation is brand new (built in January 2025) with only two rooms/ buildings on the site, next to the owners home. The host was most helpful in recommending things to do and working out logistics. Gave great directions!! Don’t miss this place! We would have loved to stay longer!

The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!

Everything went as expected.

Well located in Kandy, Villa Olde Ceylon is a recently renovated guest house, which provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. we loved how the place was designed meticulously by the owner himself. The room is cozy, quiet , surrounded by greens. AC works fine. The owners are friendly and approachable. They recommend us things to do in Kandy as well as easy way to catch the train.

There is also tea available at all times in the shared kitchen. Karun is such a wonderful host and organised the perfect tour of Kandy. He made my experience as a solo traveler very enjoyable and took me to local places to eat and experience Kandy life as a true local. Karun’s endless kindness was so warming. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. The owner’s hospitality was exceptional – they greeted us warmly with refreshing juice upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious, offering a great start to our day. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and comfortable accommodations, Yashi’s place is a must-visit.
