We chose the King room, and I have to say, it was amazing. First of all, the shower. We picked it especially for a photoshoot, and it was exactly as good as we'd hoped. Additionally, the whole place was made to look like a jungle, so it felt as though we were sleeping in the only building in some wilderness.

Everything went smoothly, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were varied. The place is quiet, and we had no disturbances at night. The shower room with an open roof was a unique experience. We highly recommend this place for its comfort and peaceful atmosphere!

This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ajith. You’ve warmed our hearts!

Everything at the Villa was 10/10!! Sunith and Januka took such great care of us and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. The breakfasts were great and the general level of service was incredible! We were also able to rent a motorbike at a good price and get a Tuk Tuk service from the train Station and a taxi up to Negambo through the hotel, making everything very easy!! We will definitely return on our next trip to Sri Lanka and can 100% recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

What an amazing hidden gem and perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We had the most wonderful 5 nights at Villa Alba. Our room was stunning and had the most beautiful views. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our whole stay - they really couldn’t do enough for us and were always so happy and polite. The menu and food at the hotel was outstanding and always so beautifully presented. We particularly loved the pool area, comfortable sun loungers and views over the beautiful gardens and rice fields. The hotel very kindly organised a safari for us at Udawalawe National Park - this is a must when staying in Sri Lanka. A day we will remember forever. Location is peaceful and only 10 minutes from the beach. Very easy to get to by tuk tuk which the hotel very kindly organised for us during our stay. We really can’t fault anything about this hotel. We really hope to return in the future will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you are considering booking Villa Alba please don’t think twice, you won’t regret it! After nearly one month of travelling I arrived to Sea Pink and wow! It became clear, I saved the best for last. Beautiful guesthouse, luxurious feel, comfortable and spotless. And if that wasn’t enough 😁 The family makes you feel like a friend right away. No language barriers, even their sweet 3year-old son speaks English. I chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and every morning a sumptuous table of delicious food and fruits was set up for me. The location is a short 5min stroll to the most beautiful beaches along the west coast. Highly recommend this special place if you visit Bentota.

Nice and cosy little room, very comfortable. Great location ! Bathroom was very clean, cute and functional. Staff was very lovely.

The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The pool is very clean as well. We stayed for ten nights and really felt at home.
