I booked this place for my parents and they loved their stay at Berty’s cottage. The owners handled everything easily and the meals were arranged well. They even arranged a tuk tuk for my parents for a reasonable price to go everywhere in Jaffna. My parents were more than satisfied.

He is very welcoming, helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay and a great time in Jaffna. We where truly, happily surprised by the hospitality.

The room was exceptional, very clean and comfortable with nice attention to detail, in fact one of the nicest roomsI stayed at in Sri Lanka. Great clean bathroom a well. Newly renovated. Yet very affordable, great value for money. Nice common area and terrace to chill out on and free coffee/tea. Location was great close to railway station and town, yet very peaceful surrounded by trees. Dilan was super friendly and kind. He helped me organise my travels and even let me use his bicycle for free. Thank you so much! Great place!

I had a wonderful experience staying here on a recent work trip. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 600-meter walk from the Jaffna railway station. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. I had to travel at an inconvenient time, but the staff were extremely accommodating and graciously adjusted my check-in time. They were very friendly, and the entire place was neat and pleasant. I even received a delicious cup of tea, which was a lovely, welcoming touch. With several food shops also within walking distance, it has everything you need. I will definitely be staying here again for all my future work trips to Jaffna. Highly recommended!

Excellent spacious and clean ac room and bathrooms. Quite comfortable for me, my wife and 2 children. A very good common kitchen with drinking water, coffee making facilities, refrigerator, tv etc. Spacious courtyard in front of the room, my kids enjoyed playing there. Mr Prasath and family, the owner of the property are very caring, friendly and a good person, who helped us to easily get into the location and arranged our return by tuk tuk guided for good food. There are nearby restaurants that serve authentic jaffna foods at a moderate rate. The location is very convenient for moving to and from the city, etc. Old and famous temples nearby as well.
