The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner personally took us to Pidurangala Rock at 5:30 am by tuk-tuk to see the sunrise, and waited for us (extra fee). The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and truly authentic. As a lovely parting gesture, we received magnets during check-out. The couple managing the facility had a great job to create a very special environment and experience. The rooms were very clean, decorated with flowers etc. The breakfast was the best. They gave us great tips, suggestions for our trip. We felt like we are part of the family. The facility is very close to the Dambulla Cave Temple but it is also in a very silent corner with a great garden. You can see monkeys, giant squirrel, birds and other wildlife just around the facility. We definitely suggest this place to anyone traveling around Dambulla.
