Unbelievable staff, everyone was super helpful for whatever was needed. Super attentive and available to take us wherever we needed to go. This was a really great place to stay. Situated in a unique location where you can see both lion rock and pidurangala rock from both the balcony and when in the shower! The accommodation is brand new (built in January 2025) with only two rooms/ buildings on the site, next to the owners home. The host was most helpful in recommending things to do and working out logistics. Gave great directions!! Don’t miss this place! We would have loved to stay longer!

The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. The owner’s hospitality was exceptional – they greeted us warmly with refreshing juice upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious, offering a great start to our day. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and comfortable accommodations, Yashi’s place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

This accommodation was probably our best during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. Everything was very clean, very well furnished and the owner was very helpful, friendly and happy to chat with us. We were pleased with the welcome drink and of course the excellent breakfast. We can only recommend it.

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya có xe đạp miễn phí, hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn và phòng chờ chung ở Sigiriya. Super nice rooms, well decorated, very clean and calm. The private pool is a real plus. Perfect to chill and relax. Mahesh is the manager of the place and was offering to us free pick up from the center to the cottage which really helped us a lot. I really recommend this place. The only 2 things that do not match with the description of the hotel: no free pick up from dambulla and no bikes to lend in the place.

The property was beautiful and the room was spacious, modern and well designed. But the real highlight was the husband and wife team, Madhu and Sanjee. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I felt so well taken care of—like coming home to family.
