The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!

It was very clean, even when you enter the room it smells clean. The hosting family was very friendly and helpful with any advices. The food was homemade and delicious, fruits and juices were made of fresh fruits from the garden. Fantastic value for money.

My recent stay at Sigiri Enaya Cottage was simply delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely sisters and their adorable kids. They treated us to a refreshing fresh juice made from fruits right from their garden, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious! There are several restaurants, with just a short 10-minute walk away. We had the pleasure of dining at the brother’s restaurant, “Downtown,” where the food was fantastic and service was exceptional. The kindness and hospitality of the family truly made our experience unforgettable. I wish them all the success with their new business—they have so much to be proud of! If you're looking for a charming place to stay, I highly recommend Sigiri Enaya Cottage. You won’t be disappointed!

Quiet, surrounded by rice fields, and breakfast in a beautiful garden. The room was comfortable and clean. The two members of staff were so helpful and arranged transport to the sites. Food was excellent. I thoroughly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay here! The place exceeded our expectations with its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner personally took us to Pidurangala Rock at 5:30 am by tuk-tuk to see the sunrise, and waited for us (extra fee). The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and truly authentic. As a lovely parting gesture, we received magnets during check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!

The guesthouse itself is a little oasis: spotless, beautifully decorated, and so cozy. Every detail has been thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. But what truly makes this place unforgettable are the hosts. They are the heart and soul of the guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and kindness that instantly put us at ease. They went above and beyond to help us with everything, from travel tips to little surprises that made us feel so special. They truly love what they do — and it shows in every interaction. And oh, the breakfasts! Each morning started with the most delicious homemade dishes, full of flavor and made with love. Sitting on the cozy veranda, sipping a tea, and enjoying the serene atmosphere was the perfect way to begin the day. The guesthouse also has great WiFi, making it easy to work or stay connected if needed. But honestly, you’ll probably want to spend most of your time soaking in the beauty and calmness of this place. The hosts here are incredibly heartwarming, and the atmosphere they create is exceptionally pleasant. They took care of everything, even after we checked out, and we're very grateful for that! The tuk-tuk they arranged for our trips was several times cheaper than if we had booked through PickMe. The house is clean and has an excellent private refreshing pool. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, with freshly squeezed multifruit juices that were truly incomparable! If you're ever in Sigiriya, we highly recommend this place. You'll find everything you need here – excursions, safaris, transfers, dinners – and even more.

Sanji and Madhu were excellent hosts - From the time we stepped into the property to our departure, we were treated like family guests - We had all our Breakfasts and Dinners at the property. Everything which was served was excellent, prepared to perfection. The presentation was equally good. We discussed multiple topics in our 2 days stay with Sanjee and he showed us around the property. My daughter bonded so quickly with Yasashvi ( Sanjee/Madhu's 9 yr old daughter) that she still remembers and talks about her. There is also adorable large dog ( Windy ) as a pet - Madhu and her daughter accompanied us to Cave temples ( 4 min walk to reach the temple from the property ) and explained so many details / history / traditions of Buddhism. The climb to the temple is around 300 + stairs with Medium/Moderate elevation . During the climb we took photos of beautiful forest and mountains around the area. Rooms are excellent and with top notch conditions / amenities - Madhu , Sanjee are excellent hosts. I/my family would stay here again if we are in dambulla again - Do not miss to book this property during your visit in Dambulla.
