We stayed at Mimoza Mirissa during our whale watching trip to Mirissa on B&B basis. Everything about this little hotel is excellent. It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. The property is incredible — just around 1.5 km from Hiriketiya Beach. It’s in a safe and peaceful location. We stayed in the family apartment, which was very spacious and luxurious. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and super comfortable. It's perfect for everyone — families, couples, or friends. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beach and the main road where there are shops and restaurants.

It is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all essential facilities, including a kitchen and ample dining space, ensuring a comfortable stay. The owner is responsive to messages sent through the booking portal. A quality breakfast is provided by Nisha, who serves it with warmth and kindness, always wearing a happy and pleasant smile. Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Feels like a slice of luxury for the price. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!
