The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room is designed beautifully and is brand new with all modern architecture and decor. The farm lands are literally 30 m walk from your room. And you have very large green land and trees in the property itself for you to walk around

Such good hospitality, amazing food, amazing value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable, our room had great AC. Ruwan and Demi were so kind, always going above and beyond to help us in any way possible. They had answers to every question we had, gave us the best recommendations and always made sure we were happy. Amazing location. Everybody should stay here, I wish I could stay in this little paradise forever!

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.

His home is a true oasis, located in amongst trees and wildlife. We loved his chatty and friendly cat, and of course his food was amazing. Dinner is 1800 LKR/person, which for us was a little pricey, however worth it. A home away from home! Thank you so much, Michael.

The hosts here are amazing, friendly and helpful. We stayed here to do Yala national park and even when we had to leave at 5:45 for our tour, the hosts still got up early to have coffee ready for us before hand. The rooms are comfy and spacious.
