Home made dinner were so delicious. Also we had an oportunity to spend time with his family and serve food for the monks in the temple. These memories we will never forget, this all experience was so so special. I reccomend to everybody who wants to spend chill time outside of touristic Ella.

The property was well maintained and managed well from all aspects. The staff was very helpful especially mr. Inbarajah. They also helped us cook our own vegetarian food at a separate place near dining area.

We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

Such good hospitality, amazing food, amazing value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable, our room had great AC. Ruwan and Demi were so kind, always going above and beyond to help us in any way possible. They had answers to every question we had, gave us the best recommendations and always made sure we were happy. Amazing location. Everybody should stay here, I wish I could stay in this little paradise forever!

Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

His home is peaceful, well-kept, and made even more special by the presence of two lovely kittens that added a touch of charm and comfort. If you're looking for something genuine and heartfelt, this is the place. Micheal is a host like no other.
