This place turned out to be even nicer than I expected – I genuinely liked everything about it. The comfort and exceptional cleanliness stood out – it's worth noting that the hotel has been recently renovated, and everything feels brand new and spotless. The location is also beautiful – right on the bay’s first line, with an exclusive yacht club next door, several small restaurants nearby, and the picturesque town of Herceg Novi just a short drive away – definitely worth a visit. The hotel offers excellent dining, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Communication was very easy, as the host Stefan speaks fluent English and Russian – and probably other languages too, but those two were more than enough for me. They cook fish exceptionally well, they have a wonderful cat, and there’s great music on the terrace – this is definitely a place to return to! )

The property is a newly renovated boutique hotel owned and operated by Irina and her family. They were very kind and accommodating. The best part of our apartment was the massive balcony that was great for relaxing after a beach day. Right beside the building there is a grocery store and a bakery. The property is a 5 min walk away from the beach front walk way. However, it is important to note that Herceg Novi is very hilly and that distance in the city can be very misleading. Ancora Hotel is about 50 meters away from the beach and we agreed we wouldn’t pick a property any further into the hill than 50 meters. Also, the property is about a 15 minute walk from the old town and all of the hustle and bustle.
