The place is cosy and has its vibe - it is more like guest house so it doesn't feel like you stay at a hotel, it's more like visiting friends who has a spare room for you. The host Vishal makes it comfortable for everyone, deals with all requests, taxi from/to airport and runs the cafe which is connected to the place. No reception, just rooms. My room was upgraded so I had studio with kitchen on the first floor. The room is well organised, clean and nicely designed. There are air conditioning, fridge, oven, electric kettle, cups, plates etc. WiFi runs very well. No hairdryer was found though. It is a bit dark in the room as it is on the 1st floor and windows have a view to another building and a garden. If this is important book the room on the higher floor. Walls provide you an opportunity to hear what's happening around (that probably can be useful if you understand French and want to be aware of up-to-date news). However it is the same in most hotels and apartments. The pool looks like as it appeared at the place accidentally as there is no spot to sunbath chill and I don't think someone has ever used it. But who would need a pool when there is a sea 5 mins walk. Shower is fine and perfectly deliveres hot water. The beach (Trou aux biches) is nearby (5 mins), cafes and supermarket are also 5-10 mins walk. The cat goes with the room complimentary (for the period of booking only). Vishal offers activities and excursions around the island and aurveda treatment as well. But I haven't try it this time. Loved the place for its atmosphere and Vishal's attitude and personality and highly recommend it. I wish you all the best in what you're doing.

The Villas Rocher was very nice,clean ,not too big ,modern and welcoming .We liked the personal touch .This apartment was big with balcony and a lovely bathroom and walk in wardrobe ,perfect for our 9 day stay .
