We arrived 8pm and Connie kindly organised dinner at the nearby restaurant. By the way we went the next night as it was amazing! The food was delicious and cheap! Definitely stay here when you come to Mauritius and Maheburg. The location is a lovely seaside suburb, quiet but still close to everything. I recommend booking the Sea view room, we spent afternoons reading on the terrace. Connie's jam at breakfast is definitely another highlight. This place is a must stay!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.4 km from Bus Station Mahebourg. Steve and his family's warm hospitality and presence was the good thing there, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at this place. This place may be good for bag packers but surely not close to perfect holiday stay for a family.

Before booking my 3-day stay in Talamba Blue, I read all the reviews and I must admit that I have got mixed feelings ... but I am very happy that I booked this place. My wife and I booked a "studio room" and stayed 3 nights. Of course the hotel would appreciate some maintenance and/or better furniture, inside decorations etc, but one needs to look at this from the point "you get what you pay for" ... and from that point, Talamba is great place to stay. The Studio was spacious. I would say it was almost a small one bedroom apartment. The kitchenette was a good size and had all we needed. If you need anything else, just ask hotel personnel. All equipment in the room worked as it was supposed to. Wifi covers the entire hotel and it is good speed and stable. Breakfast was fantastic... yummy and robust... and served by ladies with big smiles. The pool is small but beautiful. It is great to dip there when there is a scorching sun at the beach. The garden surrounding the pool is very well kept. Of course, the hotel is just a few steps from the absolutely amazing Blue Bay Beach. We ate in a nearby local restaurant and the food was great. The hotel is listed as "no parking available" but there are 4 parking spots. Just be prepared to talk to other drivers about their schedules, so we would not block each other. I would like to express my thanks to the hotel administrator, ladies preparing delicious breakfast and other hotel staff. I definitely recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to spending more nights there in the near future.

Set within 200 metres of Blue Bay Beach and 5.8 km of Bus Station Mahebourg, Blue Beryl Guest House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Blue Bay. Located on the beachfront, this property has a garden and a shared lounge. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The check in process was very well handled even though we arrived almost an hour later. The view was exceptional, the breakfast was nice.

The individually decorated units feature a private entrance and terrace or balcony with views of the garden. They come fitted with air conditioning, a small sitting area and a private bathroom with a shower. Extras include a desk and safe. This one was the most atmospheric place where we stayed during our two-week holiday in Mauritius. For a very convenient price we spent three nights in a comfortable bungalow located within a garden full of palmtrees and coconuts, an exotic paradise only 10 minutes away from the airport (by car). It is a great accommodation option for the last days of one’s trip to the Mauritius as you’re right next to the airport, you’ll get to your flight in no time. Waking up and going to sleep surrounded by lush vegetation is bliss, at night you’ll be able to see flying foxes going from one tree to another, and you might find a buddy in the cute gold dust day gecko that might find a way to come inside your bungalow and quietly stay on one of its walls. Just like in other places, like Bali, they’re totally harmless and there is zero chance they would get on your bed. Be kind to them and allow them to share the room with you, they just want to eat mosquitos, flies and other insects.

There is free Wi-Fi available throughout and guest can use the BBQ facilities. Very accomodating staff. Great breakfast, great location, restaurants nearby. Our room was made available to us way ahead of the official time. Thank you!

Situated in Pointe d'Esny, 200 metres from Pointe d'Esny Beach and 4 km from Bus Station Mahebourg, Chez Henri features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. I stayed only one night because of a long layover at the airport. This was the reason for choosing the location. Close enough to the airport, at the same time you can enjoy the wonderful smell and sound of the sea. The hosts are very friendly and sociable people. The breakfast is very modest, but acceptable for this money. There is a path nearby with access to the sea. A taxi from the airport cost 900 MUR and back 700 MUR. The atmosphere is very homely. The owner agreed to a later check-out for an additional fee.
