The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. We had such a great time that we ended up extending our visit. I highly recommend this place—you’ll be thoroughly satisfied!

This was the most peaceful place we have stayed in a while. Super friendly host/hostess and staff. It was like we were staying with some relatives. The location was excellent, the sunsets you get are amazing. There were great restaurants nearby, which served amazing food. Also we had variety in breakfast, no two days were the same. Which you do not get at the resorts. It is a place you have to experience, nothing can describe it. And yes the rum was 😋

We stayed in the upper corner apartment which has stunning views of Le Morne and the coast. The apartment has a big comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and is light and bright. The large terrace is superb and the rooftop barbecue terrace is wonderful too. The pool and pool area is spotless as is the rest of the property. The nearest beach is a ten minute drive but boat trips to the island with its beach can be organised from the end of the road. All in all perfect. We'd love to come back. Thanks to Anna and Jean Pierre for allowing us to drop off our things early in the morning upon arrival and for the tips, advice and help with the convenient car rental.

Wonderful guest house, so relaxing and hospitable. We spent a great time there. Zac and Tom, that manage the house, are 2 kind and smart guys, you can ask them for suggestions about what to do or help to book any activity you want. 3 days per week they organize a dinner with all the guests. It's a very cool situation where you can speak and interacts with people from other countries about your experience in Mauritius. A lovely place with lovely people.

Very nice and well maintained guesthouse. The staff is attentive and helpful. Room is spacious n serviced daily. Car rental from the guesthouse is very practical.

Featuring an outdoor pool, Happy Days Guest House is located in La Gaulette and 5 minutes' drive from Le Morne and the beach. The property has views of Bénitiers Island. The breakfast is what I usually like to have — good coffee, really good baguette, omelette and some fresh fruits. The place is very clean and well maintained. The owner really likes solid wood furniture. The beds, the dining tables and some others were shipped here from Bali. The hostess Sabrina was also amazing and helped us solve some logistics issues with local vendors.
