Its really kitted out for business people stopping in León. It's got a lovely communal area with a kitchen,fridge and water. Then there is a lounge area with dining table. The place is very quiet at night and very well served by Uber and Didi and very easy to find by taxi. The restaurant ' El Jardin de Bugambilias ' is an easy 1 to 2 minutes walk away and makes a great place for breakfast and lunch 6 days a week ( not Monday) . Upstairs we always stay in Room 1 and it's got good WiFi and a very comfortable King size bed. Totally recommended

Casa Azul is a treasure. Up a steep alley (of course, it's Guanajuato!) ... it is lovely and intimate, with art and antiques and so many plants, like a botanical garden. The courtyard with fountain, rooftop patio, and common spaces are lovely. My little single room was cozy and quiet. Pauline and the staff are so kind and attentive, and I appreciate that they encourage guests to conserve water and respect the environment. I liked it so much I checked in twice in one week :)

Aside from the beauty of the place, it's a great location, the beds are comfy and the showers are hot. And they serve pastries and fruit with coffee and juice each morning.

Omar and his wife were extremely attentive on our needs and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Casa Rofo if you are ever visiting Guanajuato Mexico. Taxi service was very limited due to the festivals that were taking place Día De Los Muertos… there is a large hill you need to walk up to Casa Rofo , so I would suggest you bring comfortable walking shoes cause Guanajuato is all walking, but so very well worth it. Had a great visit, would definitely stay at Casa Rofo again.
