And the rooms are nice and cool. Staff were really nice as well.

The neighborhood here is close to the main parts of the city and Santiago is a great neighborhood to walk around in general. The bed was a huge surprise and so comfortable.

A delightful space perfectly designed to ensure that you never want to leave, it’s just that beautiful. The pool was an unexpected necessity with the hot weather in Merida, and we spent wonderful afternoons refreshing and reading by the pool. The rooms are wide, bright and with all the comforts that we needed. Included breakfast with fruits, yogurt, cereal and eggs. The hostess is super sweet and friendly and you really feel like you’re visiting your super cool friend at her super cool house in Merida.

Judy & Danny are the loveliest hosts and made our stay even more perfect. Even though we arrived hours before check-in time and - as we found out later - interrupted Danny´s birthday lunch, he immediately came to help with car parking and showed us around. Do take the time to have a beer with Judy & Danny, they have good food recommendations and know Merida and Yucatan very well. So really it felt like staying with family rather than in a hotel. Very very clean in every corner of the room and hotel, and as Judy is an interior designer, she has thought of everything (e.g. a separate towel to remove makeup!). Breakfast was super delicious, too. We loved every aspect of our stay and warmly recommend Casona 66, it has really earned its perfect score!
