This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

We found this to be an absolutely fantastic place to stay. We were made to feel so so welcome by Sean and Natasha and were shown such wonderful hospitality. Our room was so comfortable & peaceful & we all slept so well. The garden is beautiful and a peaceful haven and the pool was so welcome on a hot day! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed all of the complimentary hot and cold drinks. The location is great - just a 10 min walk away from the old town & was very safe. It is a really beautiful home and we were welcomed like family! If we are passing this way again, we will certainly be staying here! We cannot recommend highly enough!

We loved our stay at Old Town Guest House.We were made to feel very welcome by our lovely hosts who were welcoming, friendly, helpful and just so kind. The whole house was spotless and our room was very comfortable- we slept extremely well. We enjoyed our breakfast each day and the homemade banana cake was a real treat. The house is perfectly located to visit Melaka- we walked everywhere!

Knowing you where helping a community initiative was brill too, both by staying at Kneading Place and drinking the excellent coffees they make in the cafe downstairs.

It's all been provided by the host himself. Masyallah. The host, Mr. Luqman, is extremely welcoming and gracious. He waited patiently for our arrival after the allotted hour. Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay. Very clean, friendly owner, no one is disturb even it’s an apartment / shop lot (homestay) room. The homestay rooms looks like hotel. Feel very comfortable. Shop facilities also very nearest. Sure will comeback again if we managed to come to the same place for any purpose. Me and my husband two person only staying there, if anyones wanna stay there with family, I can recommend this homestay, reasonable price too. Got 15kg new model washing machine too. Nice place for family gatherings too. I can give 5stars for all the service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
