The house stay (little bungalow) is on the other side of the river from Sukau, in jungle. You can see birds, monkeys and other animals just outside the bungalows. It is peaceful and relaxing. You can see a beautiful sunset and stars. There is an area to relax with water and coffee and snacks and it’s more breezy than in the village. Reception is very good and tours were amazing. Food here is incredible and host is incredibly friendly. We loved this place

Shalom Suites ligger i Kota Kinabalu, 10 km fra Filipino Market Sabah og 14 minutters gang fra International Technology & Commercial Centre Penampang - ITCC. I have been travelling for 3 years and this place was exceptional and probably the nicest place I’ve stayed. The rooms and whole place is beautifully decorated and the hotel sits amongst a spa. They also have a restaurant attached. The place is family run and you could really tell how much thought and effort everyone put into making the place what it is! Everything is perfect. Although it is located a bit further out the city don’t let it put you off because you feel like you are in paradise inside. I got a massage done, which included a sit down with the doctor to tailor the massage to my health and wellbeing :) Staff are amazing and really kind too. A big thank you to all the staff for making it an amazing stay and especially to Fara for all your help :)

Amazing place to stay near Kinabalu park! The family is super nice and helpful, the food delicious and the accomodation is very peaceful surrounded by nature with lovely animals

Quiet place, relaxed and nice staffs . We stayed 2 nights for our anniversary and the owner managed to make big surprise of the flowers as the decor in the room !For This we liked the most . Friendly and helpful staffs and of course the owner of the resort was all the best. Good fresh seafood we enjoyed every meal so much. We would love to come back again.
