Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. close walk to namobuddha so you can try to catch the goings on at all hours of the day if you wanted to. food was EXCELLENT and some of the best pakodas i've never had in my life. owner and family area kind and always there willing to answer questions with a smile.

The hotel staff were very warm and helpful upon arrival, offering an arrival drink and helping us get bags to the room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff helped arrange a bus to take us from Bhaktapur to Pokhara, and took us to the bus stop in the early morning. The restaurant was prompt and tasty. The location is prime in Bhaktapur- easy to walk around from the Hotel.

Among the facilities at this property are full-day security and a housekeeping service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers private check-in and check-out, and currency exchange for guests. Our window view was of a temple, and you are literally two blocks from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

There's a great variety of food available at a great price, excellent service and a really nice café area to relax or chat with other guests. Best choice if you're visiting Katmandú.

The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.

During my almost 3 months long stay in Nepal i returned several times to their guest house; from the first night i spent there, i felt like home! Absolutely loved the location, overlooking the city, an oasis of peace.. Very good energies.. Everything is clean and tidy, the food is very good, prices are highly affordable. They have rooms of different categories, so everyone can choose according to their buget.. Although the distance from the city center made me a bit uncertain before i arrived, being there i was shortly convinced, that all the other advantages far outweighed this shortcoming.. The distance was not a problem for me at all, Boudha Stupa is 40 minutes walking distance, we walked even to Thamel and Patan from there. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!🙏 I hope to return, soon!

The hotel is situated right in Patan and makes for a great location to start day trips to around the area - we didn't have any troubles finding taxis right outside the gates of Patan / Lalitpur. We stayed in a larger room, which was great to spread out all of our hiking gear and organize. Our room was streetside, so we heard the street sounds - bring earplugs if you're sensitive to sounds while sleeping. Shailendra was fantastic and helped us out a lot. Our flight was canceled, so he helped us modify our original booking. Breakfast was also great here - everything was freshly prepared and I was always looking forward to the changes over the days.

Dondrub Guest House features free WiFi throughout the property. The location is great, around 10 mins walking distance to Stupa. The staffs are so helpful because my iphone' s charger had some problems, one staff helped a lot to fix it, like borrowing me charger or provide a sim card stick. The hostel is running by a monastery. Great energy and great compassion that you can feel.
