The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

Nirvana Kuti tọa lạc ở Kathmandu, cách Đền Swayambhu 2.5 km và Đền Swayambhunath 3.5 km. Chỗ nghỉ này nằm cách Quảng trường Patan Durbar 5 km, Đền Pashupatinath 6 km và Bảo tháp Boudhanath 7.6 km. Excellent friendly and helpful host. Nirvana Kuti is located in a special spot, so very close to Durbar Square, yet in a quiet courtyard oozing with Nepali history and culture, and only 20 minute walk from the Thamel district. So glad we found this place. Thoroughly recommended.

Shekhar is a special person that has created a special place for travellers to come together, share and find a likeminded community which this place seems to attract. On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

Santosh and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated all the advice I received in terms of trekking. I was even able to store my bags here while I was in the mountains. The welcome masala tea was delicious. The shower was hot and I never had to wait to use the toilet. I would recommend staying here before or after your trek.

U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏
