Instructions were clear and easy to follow for access to the property. Clean and tidy, the snacks on offer were perfect for a late night treat and the herbal tea was god send as I was struggling with an upset stomach. Close to the airport. Overall for a short stay it was perfect and I'd stay again.

Qi is a great host, gave us a list of local info (places to visit) and the brekkie is amazing. Nice bedroom with private bathroom, slippers and toothbrush are available. Definitely a good place for relaxing.

Penny & Ross are absolutely wonderful, warm and generous hosts! Meeting and chatting with them was the highlight of the stay. Penny made a lovely continental breakfast for us. They had little gifts of homemade sweets left in our room as well as a bowl of fresh fruit and a large pitcher of water. The house is beautifully remodeled. They made us welcome to use their kitchen whenever we wanted. There is a separate guest sitting room with a tv if we wanted to relax on our own. The guest area had doors that allowed privacy from the main area. I didn't read the Bookings.com details closely - missed the sentence that said it was a cash booking. When we got there, I finally saw it. Penny came out to meet us and I explained we missed the note. She was soooooo nice. She invited us in to stay and suggested for us to just go to the atm the next day- wow! Fortunately, we had enough US dollars on us and she was so kind to accept it. We gave her a little extra just in case her bank charged a transaction fee. I really hope to stay here again when we return in a few years.

Beautiful room and garden. Very clean and well stocked with a several nice, thoughtful touches. Property owner was very kind and helpful. Location was great. Close to several good cafes, restaurants and coffee places. Easy walking to several areas of interest and next to a large park with beach access.

The Grange was the last place we stayed in our two week NZ trip and was a very nice and comfortable ending to the trip. A quick Uber trip to the Harbor area and all the shops and restaurants. A short walk to Mt Eden Rd or Dominion Rd for other restaurants. Roy and Heather are very accommodating hosts providing a very nice breakfast and excellent advice on area attractions.

So beautifully hidden and serene in the middle of a lot of chaos. Such a lovely safe space. Like nowhere we have ever stayed before. The rain outside our bedroom through the trees was just stunning and so cosy to watch.
