Paula was so hospitable and provided a comfortable space with everything we needed and great black out blinds in the bedroom. Wish we could have stayed more than one night!

The property has great location and the bed was a dream come true! I came from a very long road trip and exactly what I needed. Here is the thing, you don’t book this accommodation only for the facilites you book it because of the host! This lady treated me like her daughter, she baked a whole bread for me delicious !!! And honestly such a great lady! I would definitely recommended she took my reservation very last minute and was so accommodating! You will not regret it!

And the owner, Cathy, is a warm and kind lady who serves us at the House. She always helps us solve any problems we have, like showering. We can enjoy the grassland with a lovely dog, chat with Cathy, and use the larger washing room with facilities like those in luxury hotels. Anyway, an unforgettable night at Tamahere for my graduation day!

Seeing the stars and Milky Way in amazing clarity in the night sky was the icing on the cake. Will definitely return if possible.

Comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. 5 minute walk to Ocean Beach or into town!
