At first, I wasn't sure, but then I realized it was the best option. I've traveled to Panama before and stayed near Tocumen Airport, and it was a disaster. This boutique hotel isn't at the airport, but it offers a quiet, safe area for walking, restaurants of all kinds, bars, and exploring. It's at the entrance to the city. It's my best stopover, and it's a quick trip to the airport via the panoramic superhighway into the city. Thank you very much, Domenico. I will definitely return to your hotel.

Location was good for me, as I was attending an event at a fancy hotel within walking distance plus there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. The place is easy to reach with public transport (subway) from the airport but requires some walking, so if you have big suitcases, it might be slightly challenging.

The hostel architecture is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. It has a rock climbing wall and a separate bar and restaurant which is awesome and very lively. Definitely recommended if you don't mind meeting new people, some music and having a good time. Felipe, the receptionist was very nice and a great person to talk with.

The hotel room is more like a self service apartment. The room is very large and also has use of a kitchen and lounge with large screen TV shared with another room on the same floor. We never worked out how to get the TV to work but everything else was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent position in the centre of the old town surrounded by bars, restaurants and cultural sites. We used Uber drivers and they found the hotel easily. I imagine car rental is a nightmare due to lack of parking space and busy traffic around the old town. Air conditioning worked well.

John is an amazing host and has great suggestions on hiking trails in the area. Several good restaurants near by.
