Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

Ivan and Vaitia were always making sure that I had everything to enjoy my stay to the maximum. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacy and you have a constant refreshing breeze coming from the ocean. You even have a direct ocean view from some of the bungalows. The local food they prepare is awesome and this side of the Tiputa pass is very natural and more calm with more locals living here and less tourists. You don't get a better package for your money in Tiputa than at Vaimoe lodge :) It's also just a short 30 min walk away from Tiputa pass where you have a cheap taxi boat every 30 min to bring you to the other side and the locals will even often ask you if you want a ride for free… You can also book all your activities directly with them like dolphin tours or diving etc… Can only recommend this place, run by a wonderful family 🤙🏽

The host of the pension and animals were very nice and fun. We enjoyed going to watch dolphins in the evening. Having a kitchen in the room and getting bread everyday were convenient. Homemade jam and dinners were delicious! Facility is very clean.

We spent some time at tiputa lodge, which is a perfect place to relax and be away from the crowds. The quite new house is divided into the part where Henry lives and the flat, which he rents out, so one is the only guest. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is designed to perfection. We found ourselves mostly sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. It is a nice place to snorkel and swim and I also went out on the Kajak provided. There are also deckchairs at the water. You have two bikes to explore the islands.The internet is superfast and reliant. Henry makes a great breakfast, we loved all the coconut breads, cakes and the best sweet coconut water. Also he makes very nice joghurt. At night he would pick up something from the snack for us or drive us to a small restaurant and come to pick us up to bring us back. (He did not advice to bike at night because of the dogs). We had a lovely time at Henry, we shared his passion for diving and we can recommend Tiputa lodge 100%

Poe Guesthouse se găsește în Avatoru și are o grădină, o zonă de plajă privată, o terasă, și WiFi gratuit. The host-Hinari- is exeptional! She took us in her car all around the island, showed us local " hang out" for nurse sharks, gave us tips on eating out, let us use her bikes. The bungalow is spotless clean and everything in great working condition. A big bonus - drinking water is provided. Transfers were included. A nice fridge is a plus.

Le Coconut Lodge se află în Avatoru și oferă WiFi gratuit, biciclete gratuite, o grădină și o zonă de plajă privată. Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!
