The host is a lovely, adorable and warm person. We stayed for two weeks in French Polynesia and in some fancy hotels. However, this place was by far the best in terms of feeling welcome and feeling the warmth of Polynesian people. The bungalow is super clean, modern and has a range of cooking facilities. The host prepared us some wonderful dinner for a very reasonable price that we enjoyed with a most beautiful view of Papeete. The host also picked us up at the airport and dropped us off again in the middle of the night for our flight home. It was just the perfect way of finishing our holiday.

The room was very clean, big and had all necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The owner Vanina is an amazing person with a very generous and kind heart. She will make you feel at home and comfortable, make sure to chat with her! I’ll definitely be back on my next Tahiti trip!

I booked this accomodation mainly for the view & the pool. Both amazing. I knew it was out of town but we just needed 2days to chill before we boarding a cruise ship. Jean‐Philippe was the perfect host. He provided complimentary transfers . He met us at airport and dropped us at the cruise port. He also offered to take us to the Sunday market & the beach as he was going himself. I loved the accomodation as it felt like the real Tahiti. We would definitely love to return one day.

The fruits she prepared were simply delicious, and everything was so nice! We are happy to start our stay with Mateata and look forward to the remaining trip thanks to her!
