The property was decorated beautifully, the rooms were very clean, the staff was great! Extremely welcoming and friendly. Anything we needed, RNA was able to provide (food, transportation, tours, recommendations). We will definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to Moalboal!

One of the best places I have stayed at during my 4 months in the Philippines. Everything looks almost new, and everything is spotlessly clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outdoor sitting area right outside the room. Spacious room with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and towels supplied. The room had a proper desk and also excellent lighting. Good location half way between the port and town, within walking distance to both. Also walking distance to the 'stumble inn' beach bar/restaurant which overlooks the sandbar. There's also a clean and well equipped kitchen with a big fridge and dining table. Free hot and cold water dispenser. Small convenience store on site. You can also do your laundry for free out on the back. Very good WiFi. Excellent place to stay if you want to balance out your budget with a bit of DYO.....I also loved the tiny baby kitten.

Bernis Hostel ligger i Moalboal, 3 minutters gang fra Basdiot Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Owners are super nice, we’ve been treated like an old friends. They were very helpful, making sure all our needs were addressed. Also we really appreciate that hotel are 10 minutes away from Main Street, it gave us so much peace. We drove a scooter during our stay, but it’s just few minutes walk from all activities. Hotel rooms is very basic, but super clean and cozy. And highlight of our stay - Bruno, owner’s dog, he is super friendly. I will miss this furry little guy 🥹

The view and access to the water were incredible. Lisa who worked reception went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. She helped us with transportation, activities, restaurant recommendations.

I recently stayed three nights at Astillo's Guest Houses in Cebu and it was a wonderful experience. The location is convenient, just 15 minutes by scooter from the city center, offering a peaceful retreat. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making my stay very comfortable. The small, beautiful garden and the free coffee and water available all day were delightful touches. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the ability to rent a scooter on-site added to the convenience. Astillo's is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a serene yet accessible stay in Cebu.

Well maintained property, very cozy place, almost exclusive. It has a private beach, very nice deck chairs and sunbeds, and a snorkeling paradise, lots of colourful fish! It is also a walking distance to the sardines run and turtles watching. Breakfast is a feast, much better than others in the area. The room is very cozy, comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Furnished like home. Sister Theresa is very helpful and very thoughtful.

Evelyn and Lito were lovely; warm, friendly and accommodating. It felt like I was staying with a family. They even included me in a family celebration. The room itself was lovely, spacious and lightfilled. I ended up hiring Lito to drive me to Moalboal, then Maya (destination Malapascua) and finally back to Cebu for my outbound flight. Lito is an excellent and reliable driver. I can highly recommend them as hosts.

The rooms were well appointed. Super comfortable bed, fully outfitted bathroom, room was tidied up daily. The free breakfast was a full-on meal that often got me through to midafternoon! They set up tours, cars, and laundry services. If you need anything, ask! They want you to be comfortable and worry-free so you can enjoy all the area has to offer.
