The staff was so so kind, truly marginally better than every other hostel and hotel experiences we had in Cebu and surrounding areas. The staff were very helpful answering questions and going the extra mile such as: having the breakfast prepared for us ready to eat when we came down, bringing the dinner up to our room after a long travel day, ice cold water when we arrived, free transportation to the airport at any time we needed. All major restaurants of town center is about 20 minutes walking. Stefan, the host, is very helpful, and his sister, even drove me to the port at the other side of town voluntarily! Recommend.

Scooters can be rented directly on-site, and the staff are happy to organize tours, etc. The breakfast is fantastic. Definitely recommended, and a bargain for the price!

An oasis of calm within 10 mins walk of the Pagansama tourist centre of Moalboal Only 4 suites, all really spacious and well appointed... one of them is the house of the previous owners (Lorenzo) and has 3 double bedrooms and a massive kitchen/Living room: if you are 3 couples or a family, you will not find better anywhere. The property has it's own small beach which you can snorkel from. Sister Theresa and the other sisters will take such good care of you: they are delightful and attentive hosts. The story of Ancelle Cristo di Re is an amazing one. Lorenzo left his home to the nuns who run an orphanage in Cebu City and all proceeds go to that orphanage. So your stay helps a good cause too. NB it's not a party place. They lock the gates for security at 11pm. Like I said, it's an oasis of calm.

Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. Staffs went out of their way to help me with so many things. Even when i brought friends who weren't living in the guest house, they didn't mind at all and also helped us with our needs. 100% recommend them for their hospitality!
