Thanks to our guide Kuya Dave for being patient with us and helping our 84 yr old grandma finish the hike. Thanks as well to the staff, Ms. Kim, Roxanne and her mother, for preparing our food, especially the curry, chopsuey, and chicken tinola! Also gave us more shampoo when we ran out. Sir Ulysses’ and family kept us company on our last night. The inn also offer massages which is a must try if you’re a massage enthusiast. Their techniques are really different compared to city massage therapists.

Our stay at La Palapa in Port Barton was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything from booking transportation to recommending beaches. The rooms were spacious, clean, and even came with complimentary snacks and coffee. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would love to visit again in the future because we enjoyed both the hotel and the charm of Port Barton so much.

We had a great stay at Charity Pension House. The room is small but very clean and there is a kitchen to use for everyone. The breakfast is also very nice and a super fair price. Charity is so friendly and her dogs and cats are super cute. She also helped us with booking our transport to Puerto Princesa and was overall just lovely.

Also by booking thos place I am supporting local family and by booking trycycle to town-' I am supportingn eighbourgs family. Rose's communication was quick and helpful. And her kids- lovely ;)

This is a truly unique place - I can't imagine a better place to stay when visiting the rice fields. The view is one of a kind, and while lodging is simple, the food is good, beds comfortable and even a hot shower! It's also close to the road so you don't need to walk far with your gear. The people are also super nice and so lovely.
