We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Manaaki, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had while traveling. First and foremost, the hosts, Catherine and Pascal, are simply incredible. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel comfortable and at home. Their warmth and humor turned our trip into a memorable adventure. They provided fantastic tips for our itinerary, helping us plan our days effectively. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring a variety of superb dishes that showcased their culinary skills. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience on the island. The property itself is phenomenal. Pascal and Catherine have done a remarkable job creating a beautiful and tranquil space. The walk from the car park to the rooms is enchanting; you pass through a delightful array of fruit and herb trees, and past a lovely swimming pool, all leading to the main building where breakfast is served and one of the guest rooms is located. The attention to detail in the interior design reflects their passion for this place and their joy in hosting guests. Overall, Villa Manaaki is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you’re debating whether to book a stay here, I wholeheartedly recommend you just go for it. You won’t regret it!

Great place to stay and the hosts are wonderful. We spent two nights here upon arrival in Reunion. Amazing place to recuperate after the long flight and relax on the beach. The lagoon is sheltered from waves and sharks. Perfect for young kids. Very tasty homemade breakfast is served in the morning. Hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. Just as a tip if you use Google maps to navigate it will take you down the wrong road. You have to turn right immediately after the Le Nautile restaurant sign. You'll get to the green gate and can use the button to ring the bell.

Host gave us a small meal free after driving up the hill in the dark from airport due to flight delays. The hosts were very friendly and used google translate when our French faltered. We had a good breakfast very early to catch sunrise on the maido. Room was comfy with small deck outside.

Super cute tiny house with all that you need. Independent and self sufficient. Carole was amazing making herself available for any of our questions. She welcomed us upon our arrival and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The house is fully equipped with all we needed with enough space for the two of us. The surroundings are beautiful, it is a rather quiet part of the neighborhood and easily accessible to places like St. Dennis and Hermitage Beach just a few kms drive away. Overall we were happy with our stay price/quality wise.

Mocha was a lovely, very chilled host and as she lived there, it was more of a family experience. I felt very much at home even though we struggled to communicate linguistically due to my schoolboy French. She and her boyfriend made a very sweet couple and they invited me to join in with their Saturday night home karaoke session! The kitchen was very well equipped and well organised and there was an outdoor seating area where I had some nice sunset beers. She gave good directions in advance and it was quite easy to get to by bus. I had some great sunset views over the sea from my bedroom window!
