One unforgettable moment was when Zajda threw water behind me for good luck—something so unique and thoughtful that it brought a smile to my face before my race. The food? Simply amazing. But what made it even better was the cook, whose talent and warmth elevated every meal. And I can’t forget the sweetest waiter who made dining such a pleasant experience. The vibe of this place is magical guests and visitors alike were so friendly with one another that it felt like a close-knit community. It was my first time in Serbia, and I felt like I was home. A special thank you to Zadja and her husband, who personally drove me to the mountain every morning for my snowboarding sessions and picked me up in the evening. Their generosity and effort were truly unparalleled. If you’re ever in Kopaonik, I highly recommend visiting Backcountry Kopaonik.
