Nice old building with updated interior and the stay had a great breakfast.

Every room features a TV and a small pentry. Guests can play table tennis on site and relax in the sauna. Knappgården is in a quiet location. I had a nice room with a small kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food items to choose from, many of them organic. Lots of free parking nearby and WiFi worked well. The hosts Annika and Kjell were very friendly and helpful. They gave me some good advice for exploring nature in the surrounding area which made my stay extra enjoyable. Knappgården has an overall warm atmosphere.

At the bed and breakfast, some units are allergy-free. We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
