Breakfast at Kendwa Breeze were the best we had anywhere on Zanzibar! Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the puppy (but were disappointed that Scooby, the original dog, wasn't there too). General vibe was peaceful and relaxed - a nice change of pace from the beaches at Nungwi.

First thing is first: Paul (the receptionist) was the best host we ever had, anywhere. The amount of care and comfort he provided was invaluable. Rooms were nice, AC working all the time was needed and power outages were really short and unnoticeable. The shortcut to the beach was about 100m, and the village life was booming. Thanks LightOfZanzibar, but greatest thank to Paul, for a lot of things and being so forthcoming for our needs. Neša & Red

Zuzanu was really helpful in terms of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. This is an excellent place to stay and I would strongly recommend it.

I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

A small paradise oasis with 11 beautiful rooms located around a perfectly sized swimming pool. The hotel feels like brand new and is very well maintained. You can almost feel the owners' love for their hotel. WiFi is good. The water pressure in the showerroom is very good, and amazingly hot water is coming from your private heater. The pool and garden area are so comfortable that you almost forget that you are not alone in this world. There is a small restaurant/bar with a short menu if you feel to stay in. The host and staff are amazing. If you have requests, they are following you up immediately (not as in many hotels, where they smile and say yes, but nothing actually happens).

Everything was just super: breakfast outside, staff, Michael the manager, swimming pool, the whole enviroment. It was about 200m from the beach. We used to go through a narrow street with local Masai-owned souvenir shops. The AC did not work one night but was fixed very quickly. The fridge did not work but that was not a problem.
