Everything about Mitat Guesthouse was awesome. Beautiful peaceful setting providing everything one needs in overnight accommodation. Mart was without a doubt the hostess with the mostest and the complimentary breakfast she provided was indeed an added bonus. Would not hesitate making a return visit in the future.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Villa Contessa. Edith was a fantastic hostess, welcoming us warmly and showing us around her amazing hotel. Each room is unique--we stayed in the elegant and charming Grace Kelly room. She prepared a delicious karoo lamb dinner and we enjoyed learning about her adventures over after dinner drinks. Would definitely recommend staying here as a mid-way spot between the Cape and Gauteng.

We arrived in Prince Albert and were gobbersmacked to see the stunning white villa that awaited us. Beautifully restored with much respect for the old building and its features like the tiles and the wooden floors. Everything was perfect, our lovely room with attached childrens room, the pool (yes, we did have a swim in August..) in the beautiful garden, the serenity of the whole place. Nice restaurants within walking distance. And what a wonderful breakfast we had the next morning! Thank you, André & team!
