Situated by the sea, offering views of the archipelago and Blå Jungfrun National Park, is Best Western Hotel Corallen. It offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. Location of the hotel is excellent. We did not expect it to be so scenic. Also the hotel staff was too helpful. In fact, there was an Indian at the reception, who came to pick up us at the ferry point also.

This family-owned hotel is centrally located in the coastal town of Västervik, only 150 metres from the Västervik train station. It offers free Wi-Fi access. All as expected. The receptionist was very polite and quickly found a convenient place to lock our bicycles in. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is very well located - a mere 5 min walk takes you to Västervik waterfront. Make sure to book "Junior Suite with King Bed" rather than "Superior Double Room". We stayed at both within a few days, and the former has a much bigger bathroom and a remote control for adjusting your bed stiffness. Well worth the few extra kronor!
