Boats in Manchester

What isn't there to like!!! This was a last minute stay cation. A surprise for my wife. We had the best time. 1st of all, the location is great. It was quiet, with lovely views. Watching the lights of the city twinkle on the canal was priceless. Parking was only a few minutes walk from the boat itself. The outside of the boat is in immaculate condition. Stepping inside... well what can we say. We were blown away. The decor is beautiful down to every last touch. There was a very comfortable sofa next to a wonderful log burner which kept us warm and toasty on a very cold winters night. Moving further into the boat, we were able to make our evening meal and cooked breakfast in the very cute kitchen, we particularly loved the small pot kettle that heated up on the stove. Next to the kitchen through a door is the bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful wooden sink, the bathroom was so well designed and quirky. Then finally next to the bathroom through another door was the bedroom. The bed fills the whole of the back of the boat. Its very high, there was a step upto it. We almost felt like little kids climbing upto the top bunk but we loved it. It was extremely comfortable. I personally slept very well. Over all we were so so pleased with the cleanliness, communication from the owner, great vibes of the decor, location and price of this booking. We had never stopped on a narrow boat before, this definitely won't be our last time!
