The hotel is going under refurbishment. However our room was lovely, very comfortable clean and everything on hand. The views over the river superb, watching the boats moor in. The garden of the property is simply Devine, such care has been taken intro planting. Loved it so much will return again. Easy access into St Ives romantic walk.

We had room 6 which was a family room, even though we booked a double. It was massive with a bath too! Breakfast was excellent and The Ashley is in a great location for the river and boathouses.

It’s location it is quiet and near the river, there are lovely walks. It is 10 mins drive to the centre of St Ives. You can paddle board or swim or just sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the boats go by

Beautiful decor with attention to detail. Exceptional location, we sat and had a drink by the riverside watching the punting boats. Lovely. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast good. Pool facilities nice.

Location and view were fabulous, slightly off the main road down to the marina and river. Many river boats to watch whilst enjoying a drink on the expansive lawned Gardens. The price was good. The room was comfortable with reasonable amenities. Our room felt spacious. Nice bed linen and comfy beds. An electric fan was provided for our comfort. Tea, coffee, and biscuits. Quiet.
