If you want to experience true Armenia, then this is the right place for you. This is a family guest house, and you would feel welcomed from the first second you arrive. Everything is top notch, but most importantly, the hospitality of this familiy is unmatched. I felt like a family member, and food was delicious. They have homemade wine, have to try. I was the first one from Croatia in their guesthouse so they treated me extra special. Don't think twice and book this place.

We had such a lovely stay at this place and I wish we stayed more than one night. The room looks like in the pictures and the bed is very comfortable. Everything was extra clean, the bathroom was really sparkling. The view from the window is just stunninf. The highlight was the breakfast - amazing eggs, home made jam and a selection of other tasty dishes - and if I come again, I will make sure to try the lunch or dinner. The host was very nice and we had a warm welcome from her. I hope we get to stay here again one day.

normally I only make two types of reviews either I had a bad experience or the place was amazing. Areni wine cellar is definitely the second. we loved everything about our stay. we loved the fact you are in the same household as the family. It really makes it feel like you are staying with friends/ family rather than a b&b. We were able to do some cooking with Anna. Making Dolma which was amazing as it was our favourite food from Armenia and we wanted to understand how to make it. we also cooked some chicken (which I can’t remember the name of) but it felt like we were at home cooking with our parents. all the products were homemade as well and all tasted very delicious. They also have a wine cellar were we tried different wines and cognac. All made by Anna and her husband. Her knowledge about winemaking is very extensive and she tied the whole process into the local story. We wish we could have bought more wine in the end because it was so so so good. Anna speaks English and despite us not speaking any Armenian or Russian we were still able to receive a very warm welcome from her. Overall, if you only visit/stay in one place outside Yerevan it should be here. we really hope we can come again in the future.

This guesthouse is one of the best we stayed in during our trip to Armenia. The people who work there run a winery, as one of the guys explained to us. We had the opportunity to taste their homemade wine and products during dinner and breakfast. The dishes they offered us were delicious and very tasty. The rooms were modern and simple. The common outside space was big and perfect for relaxing, thanks also to Choko, their sweet dog. And the position is perfect for visiting Areni-1 cave and Noravank monastery, two pearls in during our trip.

This was the best place I stayed in armenia so far.there is large living room and kitchen..from the terrace you can see spectacle view..place was beyond my expectation.young lady staff was friendly and helpful and speak English very well.she arranged táxi for noravank monastery for me.

From the moment we arrived, Mrs. Knarik and Mr. Kajik welcomed us with open arms, making us feel not like guests, but like cherished members of their family. Their warmth, love, and genuine care turned our visit into a deeply personal and memorable experience. The home was peaceful and cozy, surrounded by a lush organic farm that provided the freshest ingredients for every delicious meal. Knarik treated us to a delightful array of traditional Armenian dishes—Dolma, Lavash, Lule Kebab, Khorovats, Pakhlava, Ttu Lavash, Rice Pilaf, Khinkali, and so much more—all lovingly prepared and bursting with flavor. One of the highlights was celebrating Kajik’s birthday with the family, filled with laughter, fun, and heartfelt moments. The generous servings of food and local drinks were made even more special by the love and care behind every offering. When we left their home, Knarik sent her love with us in the form of locally made jam, fresh fruits, chocolates, and more.
