The kitchen was equiped with everything and a little more. Wood for the oven was also included. Parking space directly in front of the tiny house. Check in was super uncomplicated with the host. Perfect stay in the middle of the nicest places in Austria. -> Be careful if you are not fit with climbing, since the ladders and stairs are quite steep.

The whole experience was fantastic. The room felt like a royal suite, it was really magical. The most interesting things in the room were the heating paintings and the amazingly comfortable king sized bed. Viewing mountains in the morning gave us the necessary energy for the day. The instructions were really clear just like the recommendations for things to do while we were there. The owner was really friendly, he even let us practice my violin during the day and the minibar in the establishment was a great idea that helped us refresh in the late hours of the day.

Podenhaus is a charming and luxurious residence that makes you feel like you are being entertained by nobles. The host was very friendly and is rightly proud of this masterpiece. Our apartment was designed and furnished to perfection, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Our room featured some stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains as well as the charming village of Bad Aussee. My wife and I were sad that we could not stay longer. A wonderful experience in every way.

The room facilities were all new, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The environment was serene, with a small balcony offering beautiful mountain views every day. There was free parking, and it took around 15 minutes to drive to Hallstatt. During our 3-day stay, we met the hotel owner's family, who were all very warm, friendly, and hospitable, providing lots of useful information. When we encountered a problem and sought the owner's help, they spent a great deal of time assisting us, which was truly touching and appreciated - this level of enthusiasm and support is not something you can experience at every hotel. It was an excellent accommodation experience overall. :D

    The host was so kind that I felt at ease. Personally, Obertraun left a deeper impression on me and will remain in my memory longer than Hallstatt. It's such a leisurely village! Although this trip was short, I plan to come back in the fall for a longer vacation. There's a bike rental shop nearby, so exploring every corner of the village would be great!

    I highly recommend you stay here! First of all, Mark and Jane are amazing! They were nice, informative, very generous in accommodating our requests and overall a cute and enjoyable couple. The house sports a beautiful view and the location is just close enough to walk to nearby restaurants or the lake, but far enough so you feel privacy. The village itself has a nice lake front where you can have a nice picnic, walk around and feed the ducks(Mark"s idea actually). 10/10 would come again!

    The apartment is just a few minutes of walking from the train station and bus stop, as well as the market. The owner was very kind and the room was cozy, clean and for a fair price. The village Hallstatt is only 5 minutes far by bus.
