    Kalinia guesthouse was the highlight of our trip to Bulgaria. The guesthouse is in a beautiful village. It is very comfortable and clean. We were warmly welcomed by Savina and her daughter. Asen was away at the time but helped us with all our questions, even after we left the guesthouse.. The breakfast was so tasty, fresh home cooked food. We loved our stay here.

    We loved the place - the views over the mountain and the authentic vibe. The host was very kind to us and made us great “mekitzi” with home made jams for breakfast. He told us lots about the history and life in the village. We also visited the museum in the old school, which was set up with care and appreciation for the history of the area, so also highly recommended to see.

    This is a nice, warm, comfortable room. No luxuries, but everything was new. The owners are nice people and they'll make your stay comfortable, though they probably speak only bulgarian. The village is beautiful, but rather empty at this time of the year. Easy parking.

    The hotel is in the center of the village and has a very spacious garden to relax in. The room was recently renovated, so the floor, walls and toilet are brand new! All the furniture are from local wood and feel very authentic, the beds were quite comfortable and the view from the window was amazing. The owner was very nice and even though he's not fluent in English or Russian he was very eager to bridge any miscommunications between us.

    We loved it! The place is authentic, well taken care of, located in the centre of the village and comfortable to reach. The rooms were perfectly equipped and in traditional style. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and was a brilliant company. Kovachevitsa is a magical place, one of a kind, we will definitely be coming back and staying in the Bazoteva House again. 10/10, I recommend and already miss it! ❤️

    The house was very clean and authentic. Location is excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. They shared with us the history of the village and the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made by the hosts with love and care. We tried several of their handmade berry’s jams and fruity refreshments along with the traditional yoghurt and cheeses. Overall, we had an amazing experience and time at Kanush Voivoda house, and Kovachevitsa!

    Friendly hosts, very warm cozy and comfortable apartment. The jacuzzi and sauna were an amazing asset which we enjoyed very much. The house is located at the very center of the village and has a stunning view from the front deck.
