Larry was very accommodating he helped us with transportation and with tours. Mel is the chef and every meal was excellent. You have to try her fryjacks they were amazing. The room was perfect, we had a daily visitor that we named Joey. It was a small bird that would "knock" on the door. The WIFI is strong and the AC is cold. Amazing combination of comfort, privacy and scenic views. Having a full kitchen was a huge bonus for us (and the kitchen has all the equipment you need for cooking a meal). Virginia and Ken (the owners) are super hosts. If we are ever back in San Ignacio area, we will not even look for a different accommodation, unless Villa Cayo is all booked out. Well maintained, superbly clean, owners care about you as a customer. Very quiet setting in between many trees, ,yet close to the San Ignacio.
