We stayed in the Rose Room which is large, has a couch, fireplace and a very comfy king size bed. The bathroom, however, is exceptionally small and only has a stand up shower with a corner toilet. The sink is in the main part of the bedroom, which was actually fairly handy because there definitely wasn't room for 2 in the bathroom! We really enjoyed the breakfast which was tasty, healthy, and beautifully served.

The host is a wonderful and very attentive person! The house is luxurious and modern, everything you need is here, very clean dishes, all utensils and cups, and glasses. All furniture is high quality - wooden tables, soft sofas, rugs, high tech fridge; no any distracting private things and smells. The beds, sheets, blankets are also high quality, cotton, no cheap satins. Also towels are white and clean, everything is in one classic style, white, grey, black, very modern and unique. There is a cozy patio with a BBQ. Moreover, the floor is clean , because my socks were white all the time. Thank you so much for having us! I hope we’ll come back again.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The rooms were very clean and absolutely comfortable. The whole house was decorated with lovely details and the hospitality of Jen and her husband was just great. Every corner of the house gives you a feeling of warmth. You'll never feel like a stranger here. Nice attention to detail, everything just works well. Comfortable bed. Cosy sofa. Big kitchen with every utensil you'd need. Fast WiFi. A tidy bathroom. Oh and the map makes it look far from downtown but it really isn't.

    Simple and clean. Loved the shower! Decent kitchenette for making breakfasts. Location was okay for driving into Greater Victoria or going to Sooke and other western points. We enjoyed the village of Metchosin, especially the little coffee shop called The Broken Paddle.
