The place is very nice, you have your own hut with private bathroom and balcony with a hammock facing a beautiful pond, where you can hear the famous Pirarucu fish jumping and see a baby cayman (you don't have to go further or buy a tour to see them). It is quite comfortable. I loved the hosts, Charlie, his wife and their children. They were all lovely, kind, helpful. Also, I loved that we could have genuine conversations with them, so you make a connection with the local people. They were also flexible to change my date and leave my luggage, when I went to stay the night within the jungle.

Had an amazing stay. The place is really nice and has terrific views on the Amazon river. Señor Israel was an amazing host. He also put me in contact with a great guide, Alex, who took very good care of us and made us discover many wonders of the area. Highly recommend both the accommodation and the activities and excusions with Alex !

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Very comfortable room with great mosquitonet, nice zone to chill out in hammocks, and very friendly owners! And delicious food (breakfast as well as the lunch and the dinner)! 😋 we liked staying in Macedonia instead of Leticia because it is a community rather than a city, and more authentic experience.
