The location is great as it is outside of a quiet village and very tranquil. The bungalow is large and conveniently furnished. The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed the daily breakfast on the big terrace of the restaurant. There are several breakfast options and the Costa Rican breakfast was sensational. We would definitely book this place again. Our villa was huge with an amazing view on the lake. Restaurant downhill is a bit pricey but high quality food and staff is really helpful. The swimming pool also has an amazing view on the lake. The volcano was our view every morning from our room and from the restaurant where we had an included breakfast every morning. The villa was clean and spacious. The staff were amazing. We were prepared for the « bumpy » road to get there, and it was much less difficult than expected. Nepenthe was a magic place to stay for our family. We loved: 1-The LOVELY and welcoming staff at Phoenix restaurant.
