We booked the danae traditional house. The room was nice and clean. Perfect for 2 people. The food at the taverna was good, and everyone on the stuff was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, we were greeted with lemonades and promptly assisted with our baggage, which was a nice touch. The hotel consists of several houses scattered throughout the village of Tochni, each restored to maintain their traditional appearance. The tavern offers a nice selection of breakfast options. One of our favourite places in Cyprus after two years living here. If you want sleek white and everything new then this isn’t for you. If you want delicious home-cooked food, a super peaceful location and accommodation with character (think antique lace samplers, exposed beams, earthen jugs) then this is the place for you! The staff was excellent and very willing to help with anything. The food was delicious and homemade cooked in a traditional way made by their local products. The apartment and the restaurant had amazing views and it gave us the chance to look at the village from all different angles. Tochni is a nice authentic village, was very quiet to sleep (we stayed in the end of February).
