The host received us amazingly well. He provided us with a bus pass for the duration of our 2 night stay. Lovely people and super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The room had an amazing view with balcony. The bus station is 20 meters away. Strongly recommend this hotel.

It is a very nice place to stay if you're exploring the Berchtesgaden area. I loved the location. The room had everything I needed. It was very cosy and with an exceptional view from the balcony. Will, hopefully, stay again sometime. Public transport conveniently takes you to the Alpenpension and from there to anywhere nearby. By the way, the public transport is free! (if you're staying a night or few in the area). In the Alpenpension, you get access to a fridge, tea, coffee, and a few drinks, if you want some (have to pay additional for those, but the prices don't bite at all). All and all – great! Would definitely recommend!

The room was very big and comfortable for me and my partner to stay for one night, and the place just near by the river and such a amazing view from the mountain full by the snow on the top, and when you open the window, there have a subtle fragrance, will be back in the summer! Wow! the scenery here is spectacular. I hope to add photos to the review at a later date. The farm stands in acres of land with mountains all around and amazing views of the snowcapped Hochkalter and Watzman mountains. There are fabulous walks in the area. We did a walk through the Marchenpfad forests with lovely wood carvings all the way through and the most amazing views all around. This is alpine scenery at its best. This was a great base, away from it all, for Berchestgaden and Konigsee Lake. This is a very beautiful area. I imagine it can get very busy in Summer. Our hosts were very welcoming, our room was warm, cosy and ultra clean with a mini kitchen with fridge. They also sell a range of beautiful, local produce of all sorts which are displayed very nicely in the reception area. There is an honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks and you just write them on a slip of paper. The owners also put a lot of effort into their floral decorations and outside ambience with lounging chairs and blankets. With lambs playing right outside. We had a fabulous stay, thank you!

Clean, comfortable house and room. Very kind people, they helped with everything. Very calm and peaceful place, beautiful nature around. From house you can see mountains, alpine meadows, they have cows and horses. Nice heated swimming pool so I could swim in the beggining of October. Good breakfast. I travel alone without car, they provide guest card - all buses for free. Bus station is 10 minutes from hotel. All my hikes I did by bus, great connection to all interesting places.

Wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and were so kind and patient with my kids. Beautiful inside interior and exterior. The breakfast was amazing and although we did not have dinner there, it always smelled amazing. There were different games and activities for the kids to play with during breakfast or in the common area. Shower had great pressure and temperature control. It was great to have a small refrigerator inside our room. Location to everything was great. Would highly recommend anyone stay here. When we come back to the area, will definitely stay here again!

    We loved the location in a small village. We stayed at the mobile home unit in front of the house, right next to a small running creek and absolutely loved it! Breakfast was the highlight as it is set in a very Bavarian decorated living room, with all sorts of choice foe breakfast, we wnjoyed it to the fullest! Very worth the price!

    In general it was Ok, just an old, private house with rooms to rent, in a small village in mountians - didn't expect anything special. I liked large room, sound of stream next to the building and overall "local" feel to this place. But since we came very late and started early, I can't tell much about this place. Breakfast was decent. Just a one-nighter for me.
