The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Good location, it’s about 5 minutes drive from Legoland, away from the crowd but still close. The farm has a lot of animals that we were allowed to feed: lamas, horses, deers, ducks, mini pigs… it’s provided with a good playground, happy kids happy parents. We got a message with the apartment number and a code, so we didn’t have to check-in or search for anyone. The car was parked direct in the door.

The kindness of the host, how everything was comfortable, and above all, the magic of the place. The kids were able to play with Legos, the garden space was wonderful. Everything was very close by, in a quiet area. We really enjoyed it.

    great location. playground for kids and a lego-room for kids. perfect for the kids to play, while you prepare breakfast. near Legoland, only 15 minutes drive. 5 minute drive to village where they have supermarkets. 15 min drive to restaurants in Billund. point of improvement; we believe a dishwasher would make the stay complete.
